Late night great vibe and food on a Sunday. I got the Tasso (fried goat) with rice and pikliz it was really good. Also great that they served food that late and the DJ was nice too. Good vibe I’d go back. Oh and they had hookah.
The hookah was good , was 50 though and 35 for a refill but we had someone who hooked us up. If you like spicy food I would suggest the buffalo wings. The drinks were superrrrr good. Definitely coming back! The vibes were great and the service was immaculate. Great music Great vibes. For a chill date or even just to vibe it’s cool
To be my first time I was impressed, place was a vibe, Dj was on point he played all type of music (love it ). The staff was friendly and the food was on point. First time trying black rice and it was good. Definetely coming back ...
Taste of the City is high on my list for a great Caribbean, black American, exciting, and semi-hood experience. This existence of this place is necessary and a great time especially on Fridays/Saturdays (the DJ comes in on most nights). The hookah girl is great, and the hookah/tools are higher quality than most spots with a similar vibe. The Haitian food is so good; I recommend any of the Griot/Tassot entrees (would love a spiceier pikliz option). Now for the drinks, you only need 2 to have a ball. They are cute & potent.
Absolutely amazing Visiting from Atlanta and will definitely stop by everytime I'm in Brooklyn! The Sidecar was delicious and the mussels were phenomenal The DJ did his thing, started off with Rnb then, Hiphop, soca, dancehall and afrobeats we absolutely loved it and got up dancing even though no one else was
Great atmosphere/ambiance. The staffs are very friendly, the food is amazing and the drinks are exceptional “the woman’s killer” one of my favorite. Oh the Drunken mussels yummy . I’m a picky eater and very hard to pls but my visit there didn’t disappoint. I enjoyed every dish that I ordered. Those lamb just melt in my mouth
I came across this spot over the weekend I was skeptical about going because I heard some negative things but I was amazed everything was good the Dj played great music the hookah and service was 10/10 I was unsure of what flavor hookah to get and the guy with the dreads made us a special mix. I will be back for sure
I fell in love with this place from the first time my sister invited me there cause she actually work there. And then I took my friend there for her birthday she enjoyed her birthday the food, drinks, and the hookah we didn’t even know how we got home cause the drinks was amazing aorudn that time our server name was Stephanie she was so nice and got our food to us so fast and make sure we as okay the whole night.. I’m so happy to be part of them and working for them . I’ll recommend anybody there great vibes and good energy. From the owner to the staffs is great. I love it there..
